It's not easy to leave Colorado...

...but it wasn't all that easy getting there either. Last Saturday our spring family trip weathered severe storms with a tornado reported just south of us right around York, NE. Then about 40 miles East of North Platte the snow started so we stopped for the night. Good thing we did because I-80 was closed shortly after we stopped. We had an easy trip home today. It's nice to be home but Colorado was really great. We toured two Universities, CSU (Fort Collins) and UNC (Greeley). We did some hiking around Estes Park and Loveland. The trail at Devil's Backbone was only a 6 minute bike ride from the La Quinta where we stayed in Loveland.

Who is Stratomatic?

My photo
Stratomatica - is my blog place where I document things happening around me or that interest me. The name Strata, geologically speaking, are layers of sedimentary rock or soil with internally consistent characteristics that distinguish it from other layers. Too deep? Well, I like guitars. Mostly I like the sound and feel of Stratocasters.
