Got out for some fishing this morning.

Took a quick trip to Bennington this morning to see if the Bass were biting yet. It was cool and breezy but I did catch a few. The water was clear enough to actually see the fish take my bait. They really were not biting much. I could see some good sized Bass in the water but had a hard time getting them to take the bait. All I had with me this morning was a weedless purple plastic worm. Next time I'll actually bring some different tackle to try.

Long weekends in Wisconsin are too short...

Made it home safe and sound from an extended weekend with friends in Wisconsin. Did a couple days of fishing and one full day of riding. Watched the Vikings beat the Packers and fell asleep on the couch.
See bike4trails and my photos.

Hello...Wisconsin calling!

Chris called to say the fishing in WI is exceptionally good this year. He just had to send me this picture from his phone. Now I have to head up there to see for myself.

Memorial Day Bass

Scott trys to play Guitar Hero with his Largemouth.

I don't wear this hat in public often.

Met up with Scott for some Memorial Day Bass Fishin. No Uncle Lunkers but the bass are a little fatter this year. There was plenty of chatter to be heard from the local Canadian Geese and the local Fisherman. Nice morning.

Who is Stratomatic?

My photo
Stratomatica - is my blog place where I document things happening around me or that interest me. The name Strata, geologically speaking, are layers of sedimentary rock or soil with internally consistent characteristics that distinguish it from other layers. Too deep? Well, I like guitars. Mostly I like the sound and feel of Stratocasters.
